HT Group as partner for the new pharmacy building at Marien Hospital Düsseldorf

Together with the users and planners, the HT Group is about to commission the new pharmacy. Over a renovation area of approx. 400 square meters, ultra-modern and efficient GMP areas with the following functional units were planned and built in several renovation steps using the BIM 3D planning method:

– Sterile laboratory
– Cytostatic laboratory
– Blistering / deblistering (unit dose)

This meets the requirements of patients, staff and also the international GMP guidelines for drug production. It is precisely for this reason that targeted investments were made in the highly installed conversion.

The central pharmacy of the VKKD is one of the largest hospital pharmacies in Düsseldorf and is one of the most modern in Germany. Its most important task is to ensure that patients are optimally supplied with medicines and medical products during their stay. With 40 employees, around 150,000 patients in all VKKD facilities are supplied with high-quality medicines, diagnostics and all medical supplies. Every year, around 26,000 cytostatic preparations are produced and various studies on medicinal products are supervised.
