Hans Zingre is retiring at the age of 70 and will resign as Chairman of the Board of MBV AG in January 2023. Daniel Weltin was unanimously elected as his successor.

On 1st January 2023, an important era came to an end: the founder of MBV AG, Hans Zingre, retired from the active Board of Directors. Zingre founded the company 38 years ago, handed over the management of MBV AG to his son Ronny Zingre in 2013, who has led the family business as CEO ever since. Hans Zingre will remain on the board of directors with his expertise as founder and honorary president and focus on representative tasks in the future. The retirement from the Board of Directors is the final step in a long-term suc-cession plan D. Hans Zingre's two sons, Andy and Ronny Zingre, succeeded their father fi-nancially in 2016 and acquired his company.

Daniel Weltin (51) follows Hans Zingre as Chairman of the MBV AG Board of Directors. Weltin is an experienced manager, he studied mechanical engineering and completed exec-utive trainings at HSG St. Gallen and INSEAD. Most recently he was CEO of Hoval Schweiz AG, and before that Managing Director of Hilti AG in Belgium. "For the Board of Directors of MBV AG and for me, Daniel Weltin is a guarantee of continuity in our values and for the fur-ther development of our strategy," states Hans Zingre. The Board of Directors of MBV AG is now composed of the Chairman of the Board Daniel Weltin, Ronny Zingre and Arnold Brunner.

The Board of Directors and the Management Team of MBV AG thank Hans Zingre for his enormous commitment and innovative spirit over the past four decades, wishing him all the best for the future and are very much looking forward to working with Daniel Weltin in his new role.
