mk continues to expand its presence in Europe

New company founded in France

The mk Technology Group relies on proximity to customers and is significantly expanding its activities on the French market. This was the reason behind the formation of mk Kitz France S.A.S, which is based in the Greater Paris area. The company will begin operations immediately and will promote the Group’s extensive service and product portfolio in France. Keeping production and warehouse facilities in-house in future makes it easier to offer individual, tailor-made and, above all, direct customer support.

In recruiting Olivier Courillon, mk gained a manager with industry experience for the new branch. Olivier has more than 25 years of experience in conveyor technology and in the field of automation solutions and is extremely familiar with the challenges of the French market. “I am delighted to be taking over the management of mk Kitz France”, says Olivier Courillon. “mk’s construction kit is a valuable addition to the French market and France offers good economic prospects. I am proud to take on this challenging task and to contribute to mk’s international expansion.”

Growth in the Netherlands

mk Products B.V. has been a subsidiary of the mk Technology Group for 25 years. Due to the great potential of the regional market and the continuing strong and encouraging growth of the industry, the plant has been stretched to the limits in recent years. The mk subsidiary has now moved to new premises and has doubled its production area to almost 1200 square metres.

“The expansion in France and the Netherlands is the logical consequence of our European strategy. It allows us to have a base close to our customers and, at the same time, benefit from an ever stronger European network”, explains Manfred Vogt, Managing Director of mk Kitz Europe.

In addition to the headquarters in Troisdorf near Bonn, the mk Technology Group now has design and production sites in Eastern Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and the USA, as well as sales partners in 13 other European countries.
