Since 1985, profi-con developed a business concept to meet the growing demand in cleanroom environment. This set-up stimulated an on-going dialogue between cleanroom operators and -experts from varied areas of cleanroom-related sectors. Such a dialogue not only enhanced the need of keeping abreast with the latest technological development, but also necessitated training of personnel working or managing similar environment.
The setting-up of the profi-con Academy in January 2008 was a natural next step towards the optimisation of production processes in clean-rooms. State-of-the-art clean-room technology cannot be better than the professional service-providers that developed it and this emphasises the fact that it is crucial for clean-room personnel to be aware of the continuous innovation rapidly happening in the sector.
profi-con Academy offers a wide spectrum of know-how for anyone involved in clean-room environment. These include training courses, seminars, workshops, as well as congresses, panel discussions and other informative meetings covering all cleanroom related topics to ensure the best benefit of applying and maintaining cleanroom technology.
Our Customer Support Department offers on-site, hotel and shuttle service facilities, not to mention, that if requested, travel plans/bookings and cultural tours can be organised. The Academy is based in Leipzig and its operations cover, first and foremost, all European German-speaking countries.
With the setting-up of the Academy, Frank Duvernell, founder and Managing Director of profi-con Contamination Control GmbH, is now looking to the future. Foresight and the courage to innovate are the major ingredients in this swiftly expanding sector. It is envisaged that over the coming years in order to ensure professional service, personnel involved in cleanroom technology would require regular refresher training courses and the need to adapt to innovative technological approaches. Only this can guarantee professionalism in the manning of cleanroom facilities.
To achieve this, the Academy made an important contribution by creating the most important basic requirement – the human sensitivity towards cleanroom production. A clean room arises from the mind!
The training programmes offered by the Academy include basic lecturing, hands-on training within cleanroom environment, GMP seminars, particle-measuring techniques, textiles material technology, layout and construction of cleanrooms, congresses and customised meetings.
In consultation with the customer, profi-con Academy develops customised training courses for cleanroom personnel. On customers’ demand, the Academy can also compile on-location training videos.
