Freudenberg offers air filters under the brand name of Viledon from filter class G2 up to U17, which are manufactured in-house. Viledon HEPA/ULPA filters are available up to Class U17, with filter Classes H11, H13 and H14 forming the basic range. The filter elements up to Class H13 are manufactured with plastic frame in the standard version. The patented frame design combines crucial product advantages. Plastic-framed HEPA filters are not only very stable, microbiologically safe, moisture-resistant and light-weight, but also fully incinerable. They meet the hygiene requirements for HVAC systems, offering maximized security against the growth of bacteria and moulds. The suitability for clean rooms up to Cleanliness Class 2 according to ISO14644-1 (Class 0.1 to US Fed. Std. 209) has been certified by the German Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation. Additional  framing material options  are available and include galvanized steel, anodized steel, extruded aluminium and stainless steel. Viledon filters offer  high volume flow rates owing to the particularly large filter surface area that are available. The sealing integrity of  the filter elements in the housing system is achieved by continuous, homogeneous foamed-on PU semicircular profile gasket. Alternatively upon request  filters with plastic or sheet-metal frames can also be supplied with a flat gasket. For the fluid sealing system frequently used in cleanroom applications, filter frames both with fluid gel and with a knife-edge can be supplied. Filter elements intended for single-flow configurations feature a metal hood cast for airtight sealing. Additionally ceiling housings are available, with which the housing consists of an extruded, anodized aluminium frame and a hermetically cast in, punched plastic plenum with lateral or upper inlet connection. The housings have a DOP  & pressure differential test port for the monitoring of leaks and filter condition. Alternate options also include a integrated baffle /damper arrangement. Four way diffusers plates can be supplied in 3 versions;  spin, rectangle and perforated plate. Dangerous dusts can be tackled using our Safe Change Housings which utilise a Bag in/Bag out system of filter change, different dimensions with multiple filter stages are available. Fan filter units (FFU’s) are modular, independent filters with an integrated fan and can be used to provide laminar flow conditions in stand alone discrete work areas or coupled to form a complete cleanroom conditions over a larger area. Viledon have a range of FFU’s  in varying filter classes.
