Bilingual Simultaneous Translation

Contamination Control Essentials Workshop
For the first time in Stuttgart, internationally-recognized contamination control expert Dr Hans Schicht will present this ?must attend? practical course which will arm participants with a thorough understanding of the many different considerations involved in the design, construction, qualification and operation of cleanrooms and clean facilities. This workshop is a valuable educational opportunity for cleanroom managers and operatives relatively new to contamination control, or who need a high impact refresher course to update their skills and knowledge.

Advanced Life Science Manufacturing Chair announced
Alexandra Staerk of Novartis Pharma Stein AG will chair the CleanRooms Europe 2008 Advanced Life Science Manufacturing conference track. Alexandra studied Hygiene-Technology at the technical university of Sigmaringen. Since 1995 she has worked at Novartis Pharma AG (former Sandoz AG) in Switzerland in the QA/QC department. In her function as team head she is responsible for microbiological QA and QC for sterile drug products and drug substances.
As well as overseeing the Advanced Life Science Manufacturing conference track at CleanRooms Europe 2008 in Stuttgart on Wednesday 12 March, Alexandra will present a keynote paper focused on best practices on microbiological quality control and assurance for sterile drug production, and she will also host a closing panel discussion where speakers and delegates will discuss the day?s deliberations and findings.
