Particle measuring instruments for the examination of pure areas

The new particle counters of TSI (selling Driesen + core GmbH) are suited for the employment in pure areas. The devices work in a measuring range of 0,3... 10µm, whereby the particle size are divided in 6 size classes. Three devices from the AEROTRAK series are available. With only 1000 gram is handy AEROTRAK 8220 the leichtgewicht and measures with a flow rate of 2,83l/min. This size distribution can be individually changed when desired by the user. The data memory takes up data records, which can be processed with the software TRAKPRO on a PC transferred and there up to 100.000. The JIS standards are naturally kept. With an additional probe also temperature and moisture tests are possible. For the faster examination of pure areas the AEROTRAK 8240 with a flow rate of 28,3l/min is suitable.Also this equipment can measure with an optional probe temperature and dampness. The 5,8kg light particle counters with a changeable lithium ion Akku or over line current is supplied. The software TRAKPRO provides also here for the transmission on a PC and the there subsequent treatment of the data. Beyond the JIS standard also the requirements of the ISO14644 are fulfilled. With the AEROTRAK 8260 the flow rate is again increased to 50l/min, which reduces the duration of a measurement again clearly.
