VDI 2087 "air line systems - assessment bases" -- revised version appears to 1 December 2006
Against the remarks of air lines the following main requirements are
placed: inside smoothly (small decrease of pressure, small dust
deposit), well cleanable, continuoussteadily, not hygroscopically, not
inflammable, hermetically corrosion resistant. The supply lines are to
be measured in such a way that the demanded flow rates without
substantial adjustment measures (e.g. throttling) to the intended
extent are distributed on the air passages. With exhaust air ducts
this demand applies similar. In the guideline VDI 2087 the assessment
bases are treated for the air transport and the air distribution.
Further data are given the constructional training of the air line
nets as well as given sound -, warm and fire protection-technical
references.VDI 2087 is to refer over the Beuth publishing house (www.beuth.de).
