New white paper VDI 2083 sheet 9,1 "clean-room technology - surface purity and purity fitness"
Operational funds and room air-technical components do not possess a
standardized category of purity, but only a fitness for the employment
in pure areas, whose air purity is specified in standardized way. This
means that operational funds and room air-technical components can be
judged e.g. concerning the employment in the pure space environment
with a defined particle category of purity of air. Parameters of the
purity fitness can be e.g. the ESD behavior, the emission of easily
volatile organic substances, the cleaning bar or the
sedimentation behavior of teilchenfoermiger impurities on technical
surfaces. Which of it are to be examined in individual cases, depends
on the process. Apart from the purity fitness VDI describes 2083 sheet
9,1 the surface purity and their classification.
