- Standards, Guidelines
The remainder of the world still 3 to 5 years ahead: Pure space rule setting in Germany
Beginning of the 70's came the first VDI recommendation of the row VDI
2083, which specified the class definitions. Since then the guideline
row VDI increased dynamically 2083; at present the specialized
committee plans clean-room technology in the VDI to sheet 17. When
1997 ISO 14644-1 appeared, in which the category of purity definitions
were away uniformly defined for the first time over the frontiers,
carried this international standard clearly the handwriting of the VDI
2083. This is to be owed to the engaged cooperation of the VDI experts
in the international and European standardization committees. These
experts ensure for the fact that German interests flow in the
clean-room technology into the international rule setting. Like that
an important element is given, in order to hold the projection/lead of
Germany in relation to the "remainder the world" in this important
technology. If there is an international standard to the clean-room
technology, for what it needs then still another national technical
rule?It was shown that the international standardization process brings it
with itself that much of the practice-relevant information, which is
contained of the VDI in 2083 is not consentable in the ISO. The ISO
standards to the clean-room technology treat the aspects as consent
papers of many countries evenly only, on which all countries could
agree, and they do somewhat point of view than the VDI, more detached
by one of practice, 2083, which always understood itself as concrete
paper. Therefore the specialized committee clean-room technology in
the VDI has the question "continuing - or no?" completely clearly
affirms. The interpretation and working helps, how they are contained
in the VDI recommendations, are recognized in the industry; there is
to be it therefore further. In order to facilitate for the user the use in the VDI 2083 of
contained specialized knowledge in the specialized committee
clean-room technology 2002 was decided to co-ordinate the numbers of
the sheets of the VDI 2083 with the teilnummern of the ISO 14644 and
DIN EN ISO 14644; i.e. (DIN EN) ISO 14644-1 is concerned with
categories of purity. This topic is in the VDI recommendation likewise
in sheet 1. Since the VDI has 2083 a grown structure and the ISO part
numbers without consideration for this structure developed, the two
numberings deviate at present still from each other. In the row VDI
2083 however on the change one works. It comes during the "change
phase" to easy indispositions, i.e. to numbers such as sheet 4,1 for
the current sheet about "planning, building, only start-up" (purchase:
ISO 14644-4) or sheet 5.1 for the current sheet to the Reimraumbetrieb (purchase: ISO 14644-5
did not run off), because there were numbered sheets of the VDI still
after old philosophy 2083 on the numbers 4 and 5, their validity yet.
In the following I represent the current conditions of the guidelines
in the row VDI to you 2083. It consists up-to-date of the following
