SCHMIDT Technology extended its program at thermal flow sensors by
thermal flow switches. These draw by their very compact design from as
well as by a very precise adjustable trigger level. Unusual it is also
that the flow switch is applicable with very small flow rates, because
the smallest adjustable threshold value is with 0,1 m/s. The
functional readiness and the activation of the switching exit are
indicated in each case by an LED. The sensor head possesses a smooth
and closed surface, is insensitive to dirt and easy to clean. When
desired a version with protective coating is available, which can be
used also in air with aggressive components (e.g. acids and caustic
solutions). The feeler pipe made of high-grade steel is to be gotten
in different lengths, so that the sensor is always brought both with
small and large exhaust air pipes into the aerodynamically best
position can.Areas of application exhaust air monitoring, cooling air monitoring,
flow monitoring in semiconductor plants, monitoring of job departures,
