With the compact C-CROSS OWIS launches a high-precision stage series, which offers maximum performance in minimum space. Developed for the most demanding applications in measuring and testing technology, laser micromachining and microscopy, the C-CROSS series sets new standards.

Save laboratory and cleanroom space

Thanks to the optimized ratio of footprint to travel distance, the C-CROSS can be integrated into measuring and testing equipment in a space-saving manner. The preloaded precision cross roller guide ensures maximum stability with minimal radial and lateral run-out. The integrated cable management and enclosed design make the C-CROSS the ideal choice for clean room and laboratory environments.

Optimize process times

C-CROSS is available with high-resolution 2-phase stepper motors or powerful DC servo motors with encoders. Speeds of up to 80 mm/s are possible with the DC servo motor version. A 2:1 ratio can be integrated as an option, ideal for applications that require fast and precise movements. This significantly reduces process times and maximizes throughput in automated processes.

Working with maximum precision

The reliable OWIS technology ensures reproducible measurement results. The C-CROSS offers minimal vertical deviation and maximum repeatability and positioning accuracy. A fully integrated incremental linear measuring system can be added as an option for even greater precision - ideal for applications with the highest accuracy requirements.

Realising high-quality measuring device design

The clear design, the high-quality anodised coating and the closed construction give the C-CROSS not only functional advantages, but also a first-class appearance. Available with or without OWIS branding, the system can be perfectly integrated into modern measuring and testing environments.

Customize design

With two sizes (105 mm and 205 mm travel) and two drive types, the new C-CROSS can be optimally adapted to specific requirements. Compatibility with other OWIS products such as elevator and rotary stages enables seamless system integration. A cleanroom version is also available on request.
