Achievements at Connect 2 Cleanrooms:
– Developed first Open Day held at C2C head office, free event for customers to attend - to educate new cleanroom users in cleanroom processes and procedures.
– Developed cleanroom training course, to be held at a customer’s site - aimed at supporting new cleanroom users in cleanroom protocol and procedures.
– Researched and published a rotational cleaning whitepaper with an aim to helping cleanroom users understand the concept, and develop their own rotational cleaning strategies.
– Presented at various industry events on topics such as laundered versus limited life garments, Industry 4.0, Off-site construction, Rotational Cleaning, Cleanroom design and Technology.
– Member of Women in Cleanroom and Design Technology group
to promote and support women in our industry.
– Act as GMP expert within C2C,
ensuring our clients get good support and advice in developing their GMP facilities in relation to both design and compliance.
What did you want to be as a child?
I wanted to be a Formula 1 racing driver. Obviously, this didn’t pan out, but I am still very keen on the sport, going to Silverstone every year to watch the British Grand Prix.
What was your first car?
Ford Fiesta
What can you look forward to?
My holiday to Iceland, as well as the continued growth of our business.
What achievement are you particularly proud of?
The refurb of Mercedes Benz Formula 1 team’s cleanroom, for obvious reasons.
Which technical achievement do you admire the most?
The cleanroom we designed and installed for a leading High Street Pharmacy in a GMP factory, within a Grade 1 Listed building. The cleanroom has an internal height of over 5m and features a walkable ceiling and automated retractable canopy
Who would you like to swap with for a month?
It would have to be a Formula 1 driver!
In which country would you like to have a second home?
Probably a Scandinavian country - quiet, snowy and beautiful.
Who would you have liked to meet?
Freddie Mercury – what a character, and what a voice.
Which book would you recommend at the moment?
Time’s Convert, by Deborah Harkness, who wrote A Discovery of Witches. Not my normal type of reading material but I am hooked.
What is your favourite food?
Curry, I love the flavours and the variety.
What is your favourite music?
Dance music, in fact I used to DJ back in the day!
What was the best advice you ever got?
Support, encourage and inspire your team to enable them to perform as well as they possibly can, and in turn, you will perform as well as is possible too.
